Don’t Try This At Home!

I periodically get photos from customers who snap pictures of their pets enjoying our products, but this is certainly a first! Lori Brown from Hawaii sent me an e-mail a couple of months ago with a picture of her darling Nalu, the very flexible Rhodesian Ridgeback. She wrote, “I just had to send you this picture of my 90 pound Ridgeback in the SMALL sized donut bed. He usually fits perfectly in the MEDIUM sized one, but I was washing it, and he was sad, so he smooshed himself into the small size! Did you ever think it could be possible???”
Well, seeing is believing! Of course, I must remind everyone that we usually recommend our large 35” donut bed for larger sized dogs. Nevertheless, I was curious as to how Nalu was able to squeeze himself into the bed and asked Lori about it. Lori explained in her e-mail reply, “He actually had to get his technique down before he figured out how to fit his whole body in there. It’s pretty crazy that he can do it. My dogs absolutely love your beds. The small size is perfect for my Italian Greyhounds. And the medium is just right for Nalu. He carries his bed around the house and finds a place where he wants to nap and then curls up and plops down in it.”
I think Nalu has the right philosophy when it comes to nap time! And how cute is it that the dogs like to nap together? Thanks again for the photo, Lori!

Man, it’s super hot today in SoCal. The kind of hot where you wish you could just stand in front of an opened fridge all day long. It is so hot, even our vinyl ice cream dog toy is melting:
